At-home Brazilian Straightening Treatment

A professional, formaldehyde-free straightening treatment that straightens hair quickly and practically for up to 12 weeks. Its formula, enriched with Keratin, Organic Argan Oil, and straightening components, penetrates the hair strand to repair, hydrate, and straighten, leaving it visibly straight, soft, shiny, and with natural movement.

Keratin is the main protein in hair, made up of 19 amino acids. It nourishes and hydrates, restoring what the hair has lost over the years due to chemical treatments or mechanical processes. It also adds shine and softness to the hair fiber.

Argan Oil is extracted from the Argan fruit. It is rich in vitamin E, carotenes, and antioxidants, which strengthen the hair, providing shine and flexibility. It hydrates and protects hair fibers against external damage.

The Kativa Keratin kit contains:

Shampoo: Cleanses the hair, leaving it hydrated. Free of sulfates, parabens, salt, and gluten.

You will also need:

 1 towel, 1 blow dryer, 1 hair straightener (preferably with temperature control), 1 brush, and hair clips.

How do I apply it?

Step 1
Wash hair with Pre-Treatment Shampoo, then towel-dry and blow-dry completely (100%). Do not apply conditioner after the shampoo.

Step 2
Once clean and completely dry, divide the hair into 4 sections and begin applying the straightening mask to one of the two back sections. Apply the product strand by strand (1 to 1.5 cm wide), leaving ½ cm from the roots, ensuring the hair is covered evenly. Ensure the mask covers all of the hair. Leave on for 15 minutes, then remove any excess product with a comb.

Step 3
Blow-dry the hair using a hair dryer and a flat brush in a downward motion without brushing through to avoid removing the product, until the hair is completely dry.

Step 4
Straighten the entire head of hair in thin strands, passing the flat iron 8 to 12 times at a temperature between 200°C and 230°C. Ensure that no residue of the Brazilian Straightening mask remains after ironing. Before starting the next step, wait 5 minutes.
IMPORTANT: For very fine or damaged hair, we recommend passing the iron quickly, especially on the ends, or lowering the temperature to 150°C or 180°C.

Step 5
Wash hair with the shampoo, apply the conditioner, and rinse. Then, blow-dry the hair.

6 Steps to stop using your straightener every morning

Follow the step-by-step guide to achieve the straight hair you desire.

Wash your hair with the shampoo, then towel-dry. Hair must be clean. Afterwards, dry with a blow dryer.

Divide your hair into 2 sections and apply the Kativa Keratin treatment mask, then use your hands to distribute the product from roots to ends.

Let the product act for 15 minutes. At the end of the exposure time, remove any excess with a comb.

Dry the hair using a brush and a hair dryer until it is completely dry. Thorough brushing ensures an optimal result.

Straighten your hair by taking fine strands and passing the iron 5 to 12 times at a temperature between 200°C and 215°C. Continue until no residue of Kativa Keratin Brazilian Straightening Express remains. Before starting step 6, wait 5 minutes.

IMPORTANT: If you have fine or damaged hair, we recommend not overusing the flat iron.

Wash your hair with the shampoo until all traces of the treatment are removed; repeat if necessary. Remove excess moisture and apply the conditioner. Let it sit for 5 minutes and rinse with plenty of water. Then, blow-dry your hair.
