Dikson Color Permanent Coloring Intense Ash Shades 120ml
The Dikson Color Permanent Intense Ash Hair Color 120ml is a professional-grade permanent hair dye designed to provide total coverage of stubborn grey hair and a deep ash tone. Its formula stands out for including hyaluronic acid, a key ingredient that hydrates, plumps, and protects the hair fiber during the coloring process.
Key benefits of Dikson Color
- Perfect cool tone: Completely neutralizes unwanted warm, orange, or yellowish reflections.
- Maximum coverage: Its reinforced pigmentation guarantees 100% coverage of even the most difficult grey hairs.
- Hydration with hyaluronic acid: Prevents post-dye dryness, maintaining the hair's elasticity, softness, and natural moisture.
- Multidimensional shine: Adds vivid, luminous, and long-lasting reflections that resist washing.
- Professional XL format: Its 120ml presentation provides twice the amount of a standard dye, making it ideal for long, thick hair or for saving for the next application.
Do you need to know what volume of developer (oxidizer) you should mix with this dye or what the exact mixing ratio is for application?
To apply the Dikson Color Intense Ash Dye 120ml and achieve the best professional results, you should follow these mixing guidelines.
1. The Mixing Ratio
The official ratio for this dye is 1:1. This means you must use the exact same amount of dye as developer (oxidizer).
For a full application (medium/long hair): Mix the entire tube of 120 ml of dye with 120 ml of developer.
- For root touch-ups: Use half the tube: 60 ml of dye with 60 ml of developer (The rest of the dye in the tube can be kept perfectly sealed for next time).
- Note: It is recommended to use a kitchen scale to weigh the components in a non-metallic bowl (plastic or glass) to ensure the amounts are exact.
2. Which volume of developer (Peroxide) to choose?
The choice of volume depends on the main goal for your hair.
- 20 Volumes (6%): This is recommended. Ideal if your priority is maximum coverage of difficult grey hair or if you wish to maintain your current tone while slightly lightening (by 1 to 2 shades) your natural base.
- 30 Volumes (9%): Only choose this if your natural base is very dark and you need to lighten between 2 and 3 shades so that the intense ash reflection is clearly visible. Keep in mind that with 30 volumes, the grey coverage power decreases slightly.
- 10 Volumes (3%): Use this if you only want to tone down warm reflections or deposit color on hair that is already bleached or very light, without needing to lighten the root.
3. Processing Times
Once you have achieved a homogeneous and creamy mixture, the standard processing time is 30 to 45 minutes depending on the thickness of the hair and the resistance of your grey hair.
